FAQ
-
What is The Align Dance Method?
The Align Dance Method is a pre-professional training program focused on developing dancers through alignment, artistry, and intentional movement. Our curriculum blends classical ballet technique with modern conditioning to help students build strength, discipline, and confidence.
-
What ages do you accept into the program?
Our programs are designed for dedicated dancers ages 5 through 18. Placement is determined by ability, experience, and readiness rather than age alone to ensure each student receives the right level of challenge and support.
-
Do students need to audition?
Yes. Because The Align Dance Method emphasizes focused, personalized training, placement is determined through a brief audition or evaluation. This allows our faculty to understand each dancer’s strengths, goals, and areas for growth.
-
Where are classes held?
The Align Dance Method holds classes in professional rented studio spaces in Orange County, California. Our current locations include 4PM Dance Studio in Yorba Linda. Exact schedules and locations are shared upon enrollment.
-
Can my dancer still train at another studio while enrolled?
Yes. Many of our students participate in The Align Dance Method alongside their home studios. Our program is designed to complement existing training and deepen each dancer’s technical and artistic foundation.
-
What styles of dance do you offer?
Our core training focuses on ballet and contemporary movement, with additional emphasis on alignment, conditioning, and performance artistry. Specialty classes and workshops may also include jazz, modern, tap, and improvisation.
